His Wedding Banquet

"The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son..." ~ Matthew 22:2 ESV

Distinguished royal majesty in dazzling scarlet robes,
rich in grace and mercy for His children all stand before Him.

“Gather the four corners of My kingdom,
for My Son's wedding banquet shall be filled!
Go to the ends of the earth to find those that know and hear My Son's voice.
You shall know them by My Spirit.”

Sent out, one by one, are the children of Him.
Brothers and sisters, co-heirs to His throne,
sent out to gather more to have and behold!
They are new creations in Christ Jesus, the Father's Son!

Thus they connect with His body to become His purified bride!
Washed clean and sanctified in His sacrifice of love,
by a covenant of marriage that brings eternal life far above!

The banquet shall be full of all of His angels,
singing in the choir for the ceremony of His wedding.
His bride adorned in dazzling white linens, prepared just for Him,
to have and to hold His church in the New Heaven and New Earth!
