Mountains so large that only cherubim can traverse such a path. Yet, the Holy Spirit calls me up like a torch in the night. Beckoning a wandering soul, such as I, to a call that is so treacherous, the evil one wouldn’t dare approach it.
The Heavens await my bare feet even with the absence of time in such a Holy presence. With each passing step, the Spirit of the Lord gravitates me upward, showing His power through me. Any flesh of this world would struggle to face this steep climb, yet my feet fall up towards His destination for me.
His spirit, which He hath bestowed upon me, provides the strength to face such a trial. I am reminded of past trials as His spirit navigates the narrow path before me.
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.”
Matthew 7:15-16
“It is God’s will for you to show your love by giving to his prophetic voices. He calls upon me to share with you his words.” Harthane’s voice cracked with zeal as his students collected gifts.
Either it was the Holy Spirit that shined a light on him or it was just the wrinkles in Harthane’s face that outlined the truth.
The number of times I witnessed a gathering that listened to the lies of the false preacher, Harthane, was too many to count. At that time, I didn’t think much of it. That is until I noticed the people he had preached to were beginning to fall into despair.
This was the start of my journey and is important to note as we come closer to the Lord’s warning of false prophets.
Looking towards the Heavens, it seems a storm is brewing ahead. Much like our Lord and Savior, I must make camp. Before doing so, prayer is in order…
Heavenly Father,
Gracious is Your Spirit that guides us. When storms brew, Your glory is made known. Through the might of Your Heavenly Power, You make the way manifest, and decide when to bring rest to our eyes. It is through You all things are made, and through You, we find peace in our life’s great storms. Lay Your Spirit on me as I rest, and calm the storms in my dreams.
In Your Son’s name, I pray…
Amen.
God has His prophets, and Satan has his. Numerically, Satan wins hands down. However, God's prophets contain the mysteries and power of the Living God. Who wins in the end? God AND His prophets.
Many false profits infect both the religious and secular realm... Don't fear when their systems tumble down.
