Illustrious, Zealous, & Gracious
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." ~ Revelation 1:8 ESV
Illustrious King of ages, how great You are for the temporal stages!
Each time, set apart by fire and Spirit.
With a cloud by day and fire by night,
You come alive at the turn of the fight!
Zealous High Priest of God the Father,
how holy You are in Your glorified temple!
In looking towards You and the sacrifice You made,
we come to learn and know of the love which You gave!
Gracious Spirit of Holy dwelling,
how precious You are as the empowerment of Your innumerable blessings!
With You at the center, You hover over the waters,
holding authority above the darkness
as Your vessels lay claim to Your promises!
Blessed are You, Lord on High, King of the universe,
Who is and was, and is to come!
