In Him We Are One

"...so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." ~ Romans 12:5 NKJV

Brothers in arms, these mountains we shall climb!
Sisters of our Heavenly Father, this movement is like no other!

Without you we will not ascend the peak,
without you we will strain after the answers that we seek.

The entire body of Him Who we cherish
is needed to ascend to Kadesh!
The entire body of Him Who we answer
is required to be the ones called to His Spirit!

He is the Vine and we are the branches,
He is the Shepherd and we must listen!

Let’s climb to Him, facing toward heaven!
Let’s bow to Him, in reverence and repentance.

He has freed us from our sin and shame,
but that’s not to say we are fully without blame.
For day by day, we must crucify our flesh,
day by day we must ascend up that path!

Come to Him, all you who say you believe!
Light the fire within, so we may begin to reap!

Reap the fruits of the Spirit, the gifts that He imparts.
Treasure like the heart of a servant, for in Him we are one!
