In Your Peace

Slow my heart. Teach patience to my soul.

Order my steps. Teach trust in Your plans.

Calm my storms. Teach peace amidst chaos.

Good Teacher, You lead by example. Servant Leader, You humble Yourself to show me how I must be.

Your student watches to be like You.

Your disciple kneels to those You say are the least of these.

Who am I but a servant to Your ways. Who am I but an example of Your presence. How can I be made in Your likeness?

Through the patience You teach, my heart slows to Your pace.

Through the faith You teach, my steps are in accordance to Your plans.

In all my storms I will pray, for it's in Your peace the chaos will cease.
