The Cornerstone is Set

"To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone?" ~ Job 38:6 NKJV

The cornerstone is set. The foundations are met. 

Held in significant splendor is Your spirit, wide armed and tender. 

In holy union with Your Word lines the blade of Your sword. Slicing the fissures carved into my heart, ‘til You cut through the stone and inward to my soul. 

The fear that stems from the enemy leaps in disillusioned enmity, yet still You call out to thee with a posture of sweet serenity. 

Two paths are set for all who might face the very decision that You set in place. One that is wide and one that is narrow, but Your Word cuts through the bones and the marrow.

As the grooves are filled by the seeds that are planted, and watered by the storms that You’ve sent and intended. 

The cornerstone is set and the foundation is met, for You to send Your spirit that I will never forget. 

Now the choice is clear and the decision is made. 

There is no place I won’t go ‘til You have gone before me…
