Your Spirit Dwells
"They were calling out to each other, 'Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven's Armies! The whole earth is filled with His glory!'" ~ Isaiah 6:3 NLT
Singing in worship, Your Spirit dwells in me. To shed the light You give to others in their darkness.
Each song I sing, Your Spirit reminds me of its melody as if I've known it since the beginning, although it's the first time I've heard such praise to You.
Perhaps in my heart, where Your Spirit dwells, You have known such praise for eternity and passed its melody on to me. To hear my praise and worship of You through the very same melody.
Just as Your Word, inspired by many prophets and scribes across time, has come to connect through the faithfulness You bestow. How You are the same then, now, and forever more! All this is placed in our hearts for us to know eternity through our worship of You!
Even in this prayer, this psalm I express to You, oh Lord, it shines as a light in our hearts to know You better through giving You glory. For it is Your Spirit that writes for me, I am but a vessel.
So, singing in worship, Your Spirit dwells in me. To show me eternity, and sing Your praise, crying out, “Holy, holy, holy is our God, Almighty!”
